How to Raise a Drug Free Kid: An Evening of Conversation with Joseph A. Califano Jr. and Yale University Child Psychiatry Experts

Many parents simply don’t know how to talk to their kids about tobacco, drugs and alcohol, or the best ways to protect them. Join Joseph A. Califano, Jr., former US Secretary of Health, Education, and Welfare, Founder of The National Center of Addiction and Substance Abuse (CASA), and author of the new completely revised and updated edition of How to Raise a Drug-Free Kid: The Straight Dope for Parents, as he provides insights on how to help get your children through the dangerous decade from 10 to 21, those formative pre-teen, teen, and college years. 

Following Califano’s presentation a panel of three experts will discuss raising healthy, drug free kids and take questions from the audience. The revised and updated edition of How to Raise a Drug-Free Kid will be distributed, and Califano will be on hand for a book signing.
