Divisions

Health and Treatment Research and Analysis - determines what types of substance abuse treatments are most effective for what patients, and under what circumstances.
 
Policy Research and Analysis - makes practical policy recommendations based on studies of the social and economic impact of substance abuse and addiction.
 
Youth Programs - CASASTARTsm (Striving Together to Achieve Rewarding Tomorrows), a neighborhood-based, school-centered program to prevent substance abuse and delinquency among high-risk 8- to 13-year-olds, improve grades and reduce violence. 
 
Policy to Practice - converts CASA's research findings and policy recommendations into large-scale, institutional change.
