CASAColumbia is about Prevention

Preventing substance use and addiction starts in childhood.

CASAColumbia’s prevention efforts focus on our most valuable resource — our children.

CASAColumbia’s most important finding, based on almost two decades of research is this: A child who gets through age 21 without smoking, using illegal drugs or abusing alcohol is virtually certain never to do so.

In the fight against substance abuse, family is the front line. CASAColumbia is committed to giving parents the tools they need to help keep their children substance free.
