CASA's 18th Anniversary Awards Dinner
On March 23, 2010 CASA celebrated its 18th Anniversary Awards dinner at The Pierre hotel. Honored at the event were Representative Patrick J. Kennedy and the Honorable Jim Ramstad with CASA's Inspiration Award for their work in Congress to ensure parity legislation for American's suffering from substance abuse, Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP with CASA's Special Achievement Award for their founding support and longstanding commitment to CASA, and Robert Leonidas and the Nestlé Prepared Foods Company with the CASA Distinguished Service Award for their vital partnership in helping America's children grow up healthy and drug free. The dinner raised more than $1.2 million dollars to support CASA's work in the field of addiction and substance abuse. Julie Chen, co-anchor of CBS' The Early Show served as Master of Ceremonies.
